Students ask: English delivers

Recently the UWaterloo student newspaper, Imprint, posted a video of students talking about courses they would like to see offered at Waterloo. It turns out many of them already ARE offered in the English department. So we made a response video! Meet Dr. Jay Dolmage (Associate Chair, Undergraduate Studies) as he talks about some of the unexpected courses you can take through our department. And yes, you can still take Shakespeare, study medieval literature, and read the best of Canadian Literature… we’ve got it all covered over here in English.

Links to previous blog posts on some of these courses:

English 108T: Tolkien: From Book to Film
English 108P: Popular Potter
English 108A: The Super Hero
