Congratulations to UWaterloo alumna and instructor Carrie Snyder, who has been nominated for a Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Award to her novel Girl Runner. 127 books from 52 publishers were considered by the judges, Bissoondath, Helen Humphreys, and George Murray. The winner will be announced Tuesday, November 4th, at the Writers’ Trust Awards event in Toronto’s Glenn Gould Studio. Past recipients can be viewed here.
