If you don’t have plans for Thursday, September 25th, and the Huether’s Jazz Room (59 King St. N.) sounds like a pretty good place to be at 7pm, you might consider attending the 10th anniversary celebration of Biblioasis Press. Authors Amanda Jernigan, Alexander MacLeod, John Metcalf, K.D. Miller, Kerry-Lee Powell, and Ray Robertson will be reading from their work and taking part in a panel discussion afterward. Some of you might know Amanda Jernigan, who has been shortlisted for the Pat Lowther Memorial Award; her collection Groundwork was also selected as a Top-5 Poetry Book of the Year on NPR.org.
